Keli Hendricks
Project Coyote Ranching with Wildlife Coordinator

Keli Hendricks and her husband Dean live and work on a ranch in Petaluma where Dean has managed the cow/calf operation for over 25 years. The cattle share the land with coyotes, bobcats, and other wildlife. Keli is also a long-time volunteer with Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue, where she works in the hospital and fosters orphaned wildlife.

In 2019, Paula Lane Action Network awarded Keli the Badger Spirit Award. This award “honors individuals, groups and businesses who exemplify the best in community service” and who dedicate themselves to conserving habitat, wildlife and natural resources—making Keli a very fitting recipient!

A lifelong advocate for predators, Keli was often at odds with the lethal management practices she saw being used. She feels that it is time to replace long held fears with newer, better practices regarding our stewardship of the land and its wildlife inhabitants.
