I’m excited to head to my home state of Maine to show our film KILLING GAMES ~ Wildlife In The Crosshairs with Friends of Merrymeeting Bay.

You may be shocked and surprised to hear that wildlife killing contests targeting coyotes take place in Maine. Opposition to these events is growing rapidly—New Mexico and Vermont abolished coyote killing contests in 2019 and 2018, respectively. The California Fish and Game Commission banned the awarding of prizes for killing furbearing and nongame animas in 2014. Local governments in Arizona, New Mexico and Wisconsin have condemned the events. and momentum is building throughout New England and beyond to bring an end to this brutal practice.

I am grateful to Friends of Merrymeeting Bay for inviting me to speak at our Maine premiere of KILLING GAMES ~ Wildlife In The Crosshairs. I hope to see you there!
