Giving Tuesday, which celebrates our national tradition of generosity, is on December 3 this year—less than one week away!
We depend on you—our supporters—to help us stop the abuse and mismanagement of North America’s misunderstood and persecuted wild carnivores. Bobcats, coyotes, mountain lions, foxes, wolves, bears, and other carnivores—each animal with his or her own personality, interests, and capacity to suffer—are under siege, and depend on you to be their voice. Every donation makes a difference.* Please help us create a more compassionate world by planning now to donate on Giving Tuesday.
And this year there are additional ways to amplify your generosity!
First, Facebook will match up to $7 Million in donations to nonprofits on #GivingTuesday! Please help Project Coyote achieve even more for our native wildlife by taking advantage of this offer—create a fundraiser on your own Facebook page. It only takes a few minutes—here’s how it works. (From the list of possible recipients, select our fiscal sponsor Earth Island Institute, and please be sure to include “Project Coyote” in the title of the fundraiser.) You can start your fundraiser now, and Facebook will begin matching at 5:00 am PT / 8:00 am ET on Giving Tuesday. Last year, these funds were exhausted within minutes, so if you would like to amplify your giving, please act now!
Next, Patagonia Action Works has generously offered to match donations to its member organizations (up to a limit of $10,000 per individual donation) from November 29 through December 31! This is a quick and simple way to boost your impact—just click here and then click on the Donate button.
We know that you have many choices of how to spend your dollars, and we commit to you that the primary beneficiaries of your donations to Project Coyote are the animals themselves. We’re deeply grateful for your support.
For the Wild,

*A monthly or quarterly donation—in whatever amount—will help sustain our work now and into the future.

About Project Coyote
Project Coyote is a national non-profit organization based in Northern California whose mission is to promote compassionate conservation and coexistence between people and wildlife through education, science and advocacy. Our representatives, advisory board members and supporters include scientists, educators, ranchers and citizen leaders who work together to change laws and policies to protect native carnivores from abuse and mismanagement, advocating coexistence instead of killing. We seek to change negative attitudes toward coyotes, wolves and other misunderstood predators by replacing ignorance and fear with understanding, respect and appreciation. Learn more about our programs here and read about our accomplishments for wildlife here and here.
