Oakland Zoo’s 2022 Earth Day will be a “Regeneration Celebration” as we celebrate the return of in-person Earth Days, our centennial celebration, and build together a vision for the future. Join us for a day of action, fun, and exploration!
- Visit numerous conservation groups and hands-on stations throughout the Zoo.
- Explore and add your creativity to vibrant chalk murals throughout the zoo by Drawing on Earth.
- Share your vision of the future on the “100 Year Vision Tree,” created by local artist group Giant Peach, which will be on display throughout the year.
- Enjoy two energetic performances by Earthcapades at the Wildlife Theater located in the Wayne & Gladys Valley Children’s Zoo (11:00am – 11:40am & 2:30pm – 3:10pm)
