Every year, Nevada’s coyotes and other wildlife are targeted in cruel and senseless wildlife killing contests. During these events, participants compete to kill the most, the largest, or even the smallest animals solely for cash and prizes. Hundreds of animals may fall victim over one or two days and are typically discarded like trash after the prizes are awarded.
Join Project Coyote, The Humane Society of the United States, the Center for Biological Diversity, the Nevada Wildlife Alliance, the Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter, and WildEarth Guardians are joining with other animal protection and conservation groups, veterinarians, scientists, wildlife rehabilitators, and responsible hunters in Nevada to protect animals from this barbaric bloodsport, and we need the public to take action now to support this effort. Please join us to learn more about wildlife killing contests in Nevada and what you can do to help us stop this activity.
