Camilla Fox- guest speaker at the Society for Conservation Biology North America Congress for Conservation Biology (NACCB) biennial conference, June 12-18 at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana.The NACCB provides a forum for presenting and discussing new research and developments in conservation science and practice for addressing today’s conservation challenges.This Congress will feature numerous symposia, concurrent sessions, workshops, trainings/short courses, field trips, and social events. Symposia topics will include such diverse topics as: the role for genomics in conservation; communicating across cultural boundaries; changing demographics of North America: implications for conservation; the role of private lands in imperiled species management; conservation and energy development; and science and social change: promoting transformation. Camilla Fox of Project Coyote will discuss coexisting with predators, proactive solutions to human-wildlife conflict and successful community-based coexistence models.
