Coyotes are seen more and more often in urban as well as rural areas, including throughout the cities in Arizona.  Project Coyote Program Associate Linda Bolon will share information about these intelligent, adaptable and misunderstood animals and the critical role apex predators play in maintaining health ecosystems. Project Coyote’s documentary film KILLING GAMES ~ Wildlife In The Crosshairs will be shown, followed by a panel discussion during which you will learn about wildlife killing contests and how we can bring an end to these contests through public education, the media, direct petitions, and litigation when necessary. This event is part of the The League of Women Voters, Greater Verde Valley fall speaker series.

The program starts at 12:30 pm, with room access at around 12:10-12:15 pm.
