Keri Duckworth
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING COORDINATOR
Keri is the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator for Project Coyote, working to broaden the reach of our mission and helping to grow a compassionate, conservation-minded online community. Keri grew up on a farm in the fields and forests of Indiana, always with an animal companion in tow. This connection with the land ensured that her love of all things wild was well-established from an early age.
Keri holds a degree in illustration and graphic design, and soon after graduating, she began working professionally in both creative and social media fields. In her spare time, she’d volunteer for her local humane society and the international nonprofit, HeartSpeak, uniting art and advocacy to increase the visibility of shelter animals. Her childhood love of the wild began to bloom into a passion for conservation after traveling to and falling in love with America’s National Parks. In 2014, Keri relocated to Colorado, where she worked on the marketing team of the AZA-accredited nonprofit, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Her penchant for storytelling and interest in conservation found its true footing here as she worked to connect people with wildlife and wild places through experiences that inspire action. Whenever possible, she volunteered with Colorado Wolf Adventures, participating in public outreach and education, and explored The Rocky Mountains with her camera in hand.
After relocating to and spending time in The Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, her midwestern roots called to her once again. She now resides in Indiana and is thrilled to join a mission-driven team of like-minded individuals at Project Coyote. Additionally, Keri runs a small illustration and design business and spends a great deal of time out in the field with her camera, photographing and filming wildlife.
