Stronger together.
To achieve our mission, Project Coyote partners and collaborates with diverse stakeholders—from wildlife and environmental agencies to ethical businesses and organizations, to artists, scientists, research institutions, cities and county governments. We are also part of several state based and national coalitions advocating for compassionate wildlife conservation. Below are some of our primary coalitions and partnerships. Northeast Wolf Recovery Alliance
The Northeast Wolf Recovery Alliance (NEWRA) facilitates the recovery and protection of wolves throughout the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada. NEWRA builds on the collective strengths of member organizations active on the state, provincial, and national levels.
Nevada Wildlife Alliance
Project Coyote is a member of the Nevada Wildlife Alliance, which is dedicated to the idea that wildlife management in Nevada must become more democratic in structure and practice.
Trap Free NM
Trap Free New Mexico Coalition is a coalition of conservation and animal welfare groups who oppose the cruel, damaging, and dangerous practice of trapping in New Mexico and who seek to enact a ban on traps on public lands for the sake of public safety and New Mexico’s native wildlife.
Lobos of the Southwest
Lobos of the Southwest is a collaborative effort of concerned citizens and local, regional, and national conservation, scientific and sportsmen’s organizations using the Internet to help save the endangered Mexican gray wolf. Our shared vision is a future in which healthy, viable populations of Mexican gray wolves restore the natural balance to Southwest lands, keep elk and deer herds healthy and restore the natural functioning of entire ecosystems.
Mexican wolves are valued by Southwest residents and visitors as an intrinsic part of our natural heritage and as beautiful, intelligent, wild animals that contribute to our quality of life.
Pacific Wolf Coalition
PacWolf Coalition is an alliance of organizations and individuals working towards a common vision where wolves once again play a positive, meaningful, and sustainable role on the landscape and in our culture. Members of the Pacific Wolf Coalition seek to efficiently and effectively achieve that shared vision while honoring each member organization’s unique values, strengths, and goals.
Silver State Wildlife
Silver State Wildlife aims to improve wildlife policy in Nevada through education and advocacy. Archaic, unscientific, and inhumane policies threaten not only Nevada’s native wildlife but all who recreate on public land.
Team Wolf
Team Wolf is an evolution of The #RelistWolves Campaign. They are a pack of passionate advocates, scientists, and conservationists on a mission to ensure the long-term protection and recovery of Gray Wolves.
National Coalition to End Wildlife Killing Contests
Wildlife for All
Wildlife for All is a national movement to reform state wildlife management to be more democratic, just, compassionate, and focused on protecting wild species and ecosystems.
Endangered Species Coalition
The Endangered Species Coalition’s mission is to stop the human-caused extinction of our nation’s at-risk species, to protect and restore their habitats, and to guide these fragile populations along the road to recovery. They use grassroots mobilization, education, and targeted campaigns to enable every American to participate in actions that impact the democratic political process.
