The last two mornings my husband and I witnessed a red fox walking through our backyard.
On a wildlife camera we occasionally put out, we’ve also documented coyotes and bobcats roaming through our yard. We live in Redlands very close to relatively busy Mariposa Drive near the country club — so chances are you also have those animals in your yards.
We welcome them all, especially since these natural predator controls are preferable to using poisons for rodents, which have negative issues on animals that eat poisoned prey, our dogs and potentially humans.
