Protect Colorado’s Wildlife: Vote NO on Amendment 83

Amendment 83 is pitched as a simple “right to hunt and fish,” but hunting and fishing are already legal in Colorado. What it would actually do is write vague, undefined language into the state constitution and leave it to the courts to interpret, opening the door to challenges against bans Coloradans have already won including leghold traps, spring bear baiting and hounding, and wildlife killing contests.

Our Amendment 83 Toolkit has everything you need to help Colorado vote NO: fact sheets, talking points, myth vs. fact pairs, shareable social posts and photos, and sample letters to the editor. Download it, share it, and talk to your neighbors. Amendment 83 needs 55% to pass, and every conversation that starts with the facts makes it harder.
